About Artist
Severj was founded by Zeynep Severge in 2017 with a deep appreciation for objects and making process and the aim of creating quality work that highlights the beauty of natural and hand-made products. Now based in Galata / Istanbul, severj offers ceramic + porcelain collections while experimenting with the wheel, machines, clay forms, plaster, stains and chemicals on a daily basis. Severj offers an array of everyday ceramic serveware and home decor objects — to evoke a sense of joy through the commitment to design and produce functional products; pleasant to look at and to hold. In addition, severj offers commissioned works, made-to-orders and one-offs.
